Breakwater Founder/CEO: Keith Neubert

Boldness has a genius, power and magic in it…
Goeth

To say Keith Neubert has lived a bold, adventurous life would be an understatement. After earning a communications-journalism degree and varsity letters in both football and basketball from the University of Nebraska, Keith was drafted by the NFL’s New York Jets and spent the next five years playing professional football. When a career-ending injury forced him to close that chapter of his life, he turned his adventurous spirit and creative passion into a rewarding career in film and television.

Since 1994, Keith has worked in front of the camera as an actor, broadcaster and television host and behind it as an award-winning director, writer, producer and founder of a successful production company. A myriad of television and film projects have led Keith to the far corners of the world, allowing him to pursue his passion for exploration, history, culture, conservation and adventure — most recently as a producer, director and host of the Expedition China: Search for Shangri la series for National Geographic International.

As human beings we possess an innate instinct for exploration and adventure. It’s inherent in our DNA. I realize that tomorrow is not promised and I am on a constant quest for uncommon stories to tell…that next great challenge. The higher the mountain and more arduous the journey – the better.”
